Community Christian Academy's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kylin McDonald, who scored 37 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points McDonald has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Beau Moore, who scored 19 points.
St. Teresa's Catholic was led to victory by Sermario MJ Wiggins and Ricardo Resendez. Wiggins scored 23 points, while Resendez scored 31 points. That's the first time this season that Wiggins scored 15 or more points.
Community Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for St. Teresa's Catholic, their victory bumped their record up to 2-4.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Community Christian Academy will take on Colquitt Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Georgia (Colquitt Christian Academy is ranked 570th, while Community Christian Academy is ranked 549th). As for St. Teresa's Catholic, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against First Academy at 6:30 p.m. First Academy comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
