Basketball Recap: Morrice Skates Past Bendle with Ease

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Morrice). They claimed a resounding 65-26 victory over the Bendle Tigers. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Orioles.

Bendle lost on Tuesday despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Alyssah Belcher, who posted nine points along with five boards and four blocks. Isabelle King was another key player, putting up four points and six rebounds.

The win got Morrice back to even at 2-2. As for Bendle, they dropped their record down to 1-3 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

Morrice will take on New Standard Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. New Standard Academy will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Morrice surely won't give up without a fight. As for Bendle, they will face off against Beecher at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
