Mulvane scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They took a 67-59 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Buhler Crusaders. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Tuesday (57), the Wildcats still had to take the loss.

Mulvane's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 4-2. As for Buhler, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.

Mulvane will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Winfield on January 7, 2025. Buhler will also get a bit of a break before their next contest: they'll face off against Circle at 6:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
