The Calvary Christian Academy Lions's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their fifth straight loss. They fell 57-46 to Master's Academy.
Master's Academy found their leader in underclassman Brooklyn O'Gallagher, who scored 26 points. That makes it five consecutive games in which O'Gallagher has scored at least a third of Master's Academy's points. Sage Smith was another key contributor, scoring 15 points.
Calvary Christian Academy dropped their record down to 11-10 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Master's Academy, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-9.
Calvary Christian Academy won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Tocoi Creek at 6:00 p.m. on January 26th. Hopefully Tocoi Creek focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 on Thursday. As for Master's Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Evans at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Evans will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings (they are ranked 484th, while Master's Academy is ranked 188th).
