The Firelands Falcons will head out on the road to face off against the Bellevue Redmen at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Firelands will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings (they are ranked 398th, while Bellevue is ranked 60th).
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 58-25, which was the final score in Firelands' tilt against Keystone on Wednesday. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Firelands in their matchups with Keystone: they've now lost three in a row.
Meanwhile, Bellevue entered their tilt with Perkins with seven consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with eight. Bellevue enjoyed a cozy 55-38 victory over Perkins on Saturday.
Firelands dropped their record down to 11-9 with that loss, which was their third straight at home. As for Bellevue, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season.
