Last Thursday, everything came up roses for Front Range Baptist against Mile High Academy as the team secured a 65-19 victory. The Falcons haven't had any issues with the Mustangs recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Front Range Baptist had a senior duo take command as Benjamin VanDenBerghe went 9-for-16 on his way to 20 points in addition to six steals and five rebounds and Mark Sutton dropped a double-double with 14 points and 13 boards. As a matter of fact, that's the most points VanDenBerghe has scored all season. Ethan Pierce was another key player, putting up nine points.
Front Range Baptist smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 22 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in 45 consecutive games dating back to last season.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Rocky Mountain Lutheran, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They walked away with a 49-37 victory over Hi-Plains on Saturday.
Rocky Mountain Lutheran's win came from a few key players Front Range Baptist will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Blake Harris, who posted 13 points and four steals. He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last ten games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Gavin Borchardt, who scored five points along with 18 boards and four blocks.
Front Range Baptist's win bumped their record up to 14-7. As for Rocky Mountain Lutheran, their victory bumped their record up to 6-14.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Front Range Baptist has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 37.3 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Rocky Mountain Lutheran struggles in that department as they've been averaging 34.9 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
