Moultonborough Academy unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They fell  21-16 to the Groveton Eagles on Monday. Sadly, the  loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.
 Moultonborough Academy got a  massive  performance out of  Beyla Rudolph, who  went 3-for-5 with five  RBI, one  stolen base,  and one  run. The team also got some help courtesy of  Madison Hart, who  scored three  runs and  stole three bases while going 3-for-4.
 We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Moultonborough Academy is set to  take on  their familiar foe Woodsville  at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Groveton will  face off against  rival Littleton  at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday.
