Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Sports Leadership & Management walked away with it. They came out on top against the Royal Lions by a score of 58-46 on Tuesday. Winning may never get old, but Sports Leadership & Management sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Sports Leadership & Management to victory, but perhaps none more so than Elijah Harriel, who scored nine points along with seven assists and six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Orlando Ortega, who scored 12 points along with two steals.
Sports Leadership & Management's win bumped their record up to 13-11. As for LaSalle, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-13.
Sports Leadership & Management will square off against St. Brendan at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Sports Leadership & Management's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three contests. LaSalle does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
