Laurel Highlands had won two straight games and Kayden Smith did his part to make it three on Tuesday. The Mustangs strolled past the Waynesburg Central Raiders with points to spare, taking the game 76-60 with plenty of help from Smith, who posted 22 points. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.

Laurel Highlands' victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Waynesburg Central, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Coming up, Laurel Highlands will be playing at home against McKeesport at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Mustangs will need to watch out since the Tigers have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. Waynesburg Central has already played their next contest (against Aquinas Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
