Easton had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They never let the Washburn Beavers get on the board and left with a 2-0 win on Tuesday. That's more bragging rights for Easton, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Washburn's loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coming up, Washburn will head out to take on Fort Fairfield at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Easton will be paying especially close attention to the Beavers' matchup: after the Beavers face off against Madawaska, they'll take on Easton again at 5:00 p.m. on September 10.
