In what's become a running theme this season, the Windsor Wizards gave their fans yet another huge victory on Saturday. They claimed a resounding 62-20 victory over Greeley Central on the road. With Windsor ahead 37-12 at the half, the match was all but over already.
It was another big night for Reyleigh Hess, who scored 13 points along with six rebounds and three steals. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times she's played. Another player making a difference was Gracie Worlsey, who scored eight points along with eight rebounds and three steals.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Greeley Central struggled to work together and finished the game with only two assists. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Windsor racked up 21 assists.
The win (which was Windsor's fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-5. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.3 points per game. As for Greeley Central, they are on a eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-11.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Windsor will take on Silver Creek at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Silver Creek will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Colorado Rankings (they are ranked 147th, while Windsor is ranked 33rd). As for Greeley Central, they will be playing at home against Greeley West at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
