Mott came tearing into Monday's game with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 4-1 victory over the Center Line Panthers. This was a revenge game for the Marauders: when they faced off against the Panthers back in April, they had to take a 19-0 defeat.

Lucas Wypiszewski was a major factor no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base and one double. That stolen base marked the first that he has snagged this season.

In other batting news, Blake Wright was excellent, going 1-for-2 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Cantrel Parrish was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Mott's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-7. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Center Line, their loss dropped their record down to 7-11.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mott will welcome Cousino at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Center Line, they will be playing at home against Hazel Park at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Panthers are facing the Vikings at the right time seeing as the Vikings are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
