The Shidler Tigers and the Olive Wildcats will face off at 8:00 p.m. on January 23rd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Oklahoma (Shidler is ranked 471st, while Olive is ranked 467th).
Shidler scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They came out on top against Wellston by a score of 53-42. The victory was some much needed relief for Shidler as it spelled an end to their seven-game losing streak.
Olive suffered their biggest defeat since January 4th on Saturday. They were outmatched by Yale at home and fell 66-38. Olive just can't catch a break and has now endured six defeats in a row.
Shidler's victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-16. As for Olive, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost 12 of their last 13 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-16 record this season.
