Baseball Recap: Regis Comes Up Short

Regis was the 1-0 winner over Culver when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Rams fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 4-3 on Tuesday. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Korben Schumacher was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 1-for-4. He has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last five times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Ethan Emch, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Regis' loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Culver, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 6-0-1.

While Regis had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
