Delcastle Vo-Tech scored a stunning upset when it knocked off Newark, 14-7. At the time, the Yellowjackets were ranked 24th in the state, while the Cougars were 39th.
The biggest upset of the week belonged to Newark, who took down 24th ranked Newark, 14-7.
DuPont's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Tigers feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Ramsey Lowery has thrown for 877 yards and nine touchdowns this season, while Peter Grasso has 14 catches for 295 yards. Lowery also leads the league in rushing with 311 yards.
The marquee game in the league this week will be the clash between DuPont and Glasgow. The Tigers comes into the matchup ranked 11th in the state, while the Dragons ranks 25th.
Middletown extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Appoquinimink, 57-21. The win marks seventh in a row for the the Cavaliers.
