The Campus International Trailblazers will wrap up 2023 with a road trip to face off against the Fairview Warriors at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Campus International, yet to win a game, are hoping to taste some of the success that has characterized Fairview's (thus far) undefeated season.
Last Tuesday, Campus International was beaten by Garrett Morgan 57-13. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Campus International in their matchups with Garrett Morgan: they've now lost three in a row.
Meanwhile, even though Lake Catholic scored an imposing 58 points on Friday, Fairview still came out on top. Fairview took down Lake Catholic 74-58. Given Fairview's advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 31st, while Lake Catholic is ranked 313th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Campus International bumped their record down to 0-7 with that defeat, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Fairview, their win bumped their record up to 5-0.
