Abbeville Christian Academy put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on the Edgewood Academy Wildcats with a sharp 65-42 win. That 23 point margin sets a new team best for the Generals this season.

Amari George was her usual excellent self, going 8-for-14 en route to 19 points along with five boards and three steals. That's the most points she has posted since back in November of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Chloe Cooper, who shot 67% from the field on her way to 13 points.

Despite the loss, Edgewood Academy had strong showings from Jadah Townsend, who earned 15 points in addition to eight assists and six rebounds, and Savannah Wood, who had 16 points. That was a full 35.7% of the Wildcats' points, marking the sixth time in a row Townsend has scored more than a third of the team's points.

Abbeville Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Edgewood Academy, they dropped their record down to 1-5 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Abbeville Christian Academy will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Ezekiel Academy at 6:00 p.m. on December 4. As for Edgewood Academy, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 48-45 loss against Wiregrass on the 25th.
