Becker is 7-2 against the Vikings since January of 2020, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Becker Bulldogs will be playing at home against the North Branch Vikings at 7:00 p.m. One thing working in Becker's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last ten matchups.
Even though St. Francis scored an imposing 64 points on Tuesday, Becker still came out on top. Becker managed a 69-64 win over the Fighting Saints.
Becker's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kyan Blomquist, who scored 20 points along with eight rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Nathan Weiss, who scored eight points along with 12 rebounds and three steals.
Meanwhile, even though Big Lake scored an imposing 68 points on Tuesday, North Branch still came out on top. North Branch took down the Hornets 84-68.
Becker's win bumped their record up to 10-8. As for North Branch, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-8 record this season.
Becker didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against the Vikings in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, but they still walked away with a 93-87 win. Will Becker repeat their success, or do the Vikings have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
