Basketball Recap: Halfway Skates Past School of the Ozarks with Ease

After losing to School of the Ozarks the last time they met, Halfway decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Halfway Cardinals blew past the School of the Ozarks Patriots 66-36 on Tuesday. The Cardinals have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 20 points or more this season.

School of the Ozarks' defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Canaan Thomas, who posted six points and six boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Scott Carswell, who had six points and six rebounds.

Halfway is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season.
