University Prep Value is 8-2 against ESAT since February of 2018, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The University Prep Value Wolves will look to defend their home court against the ESAT Grizzlies at 4:30 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.
University Prep Value came tearing into Thursday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 20 points) and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against Collins Family by a score of 61-50.
Meanwhile, ESAT scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They walked away with a 70-58 win over CALS Early College. That looming 70-58 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for ESAT yet this season.
Niel Gabriel Sanchez was the offensive standout of the contest as he scored 23 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Jonah Vasquez, who scored 14 points.
University Prep Value is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 13 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season. As for ESAT, their victory ended a 12-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-5.
Everything came up roses for University Prep Value against ESAT when the teams last played back in December of 2023 as the squad secured a 84-54 victory. Does University Prep Value have another victory up their sleeve, or will ESAT turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
