The biggest upset of the week belonged to Marshall County, who took down 120th ranked Marshall County, 42-9. Jared McEwen threw for 56 yards and one touchdown in the win.
Henderson County extended the longest winning streak in 6A District 1 this week by beating Muhlenberg County, 55-0. The victory was the fifth in a row for the team.
Daviess County's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. On the ground Samuel Spiceson chipped in 66 yards. Blake Roberts helped Daviess County's passing attack out by catching three balls for 30 yards.
Darrius Crite provided a threat through the air and on the ground as the Panthers beat the Marshals. He completed one pass for 12 yards and also ran for 66 yards. Crite's favorite target this week was Chase Lecroy, who caught one pass for 35 yards.
Daviess County's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Panthers feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. McEwen has thrown for 510 yards and seven touchdowns this season, while Roberts has 42 catches for 553 yards. Crite leads the league in rushing with 414 yards.
