They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Manning 54-51. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory Loris has posted since November 20, 2023.
Leading Loris to victory were JAMARIUS WILSON and KHALID SHERMAN. WILSON dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten rebounds, while SHERMAN scored 19 points along with five assists and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points WILSON has scored all season. Another player making a difference was NIGEL MILLER, who scored seven points along with four steals.
Despite the loss, Manning still got an impressive performance from Jeffrey Ceasar, who scored 24 points along with three steals. Ceasar hasn't dropped below two steals for 11 straight games. CJ Robinson was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with two steals.
Loris has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. As for Manning, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 11-7.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Loris will take on Waccamaw at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
