Glacier Peak proved they can win big last Monday (they won by 11) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-2 victory over the Jackson Timberwolves. The win was nothing new for the Grizzlies as they're now sitting on eight straight.
Emma Hirshorn spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on five hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Lauren Hufford, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and one triple. That's the most hits she has posted since back in May of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Briannica Titus, who went 2-for-4 with one double and one RBI.
Glacier Peak's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-2.
