Volleyball Recap: Covenant Academy's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Covenant Academy can bid farewell to their seven-game losing streak thanks to their game on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Central Fellowship Christian Academy Lancers. The Rams not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since August 21st (when they won 3-0).

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Covenant Academy took every set by at least 14 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-6, 25-8.

Covenant Academy's win bumped their record up to 2-9. As for Central Fellowship Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 0-8.

Coming up, Covenant Academy is taking a road trip to take on LaGrange Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Central Fellowship Christian Academy will be paying especially close attention to the Rams' contest: after the Rams face off against LaGrange Academy, they'll take on Central Fellowship Christian Academy again at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
