Kauffman put the finishing touches on their eighth blowout victory of the season on Monday. They blew past St. Mary's Academy 58-32.
Meanwhile, East came into Tuesday's contest having lost seven straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against Southeast by a score of 54-46 on Tuesday. That looming 54-46 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for East yet this season.
Kauffman's victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 12-10. As for East, their victory ended a seven-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-13.
Kauffman beat East 66-53 in their previous meeting back in February of 2020. Will Kauffman repeat their success, or does East have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
