Meanwhile, Fort Plain's six-game losing streak dating back to last season came to an end on Friday. They came out on top against Galway by a score of 48-35. Fort Plain's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Fort Plain found their leader in underclassman Dylan Keane, who dropped a double-double on 27 points and ten rebounds. The contest was Keane's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Nate Benson, who scored eight points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Middleburgh's loss was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-4. As for Fort Plain, their win bumped their record up to 1-5.
