 In other batting news,  Tia Nichols was a standout: she scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 3-for-3.  Dakoda Hilvers was another key contributor,  going 2-for-4 with a  home run, three  runs,  and three  RBI.
 Garces Memorial's defeat dropped their record down to 6-16. As for Bakersfield Christian, the  win (which was their 19th in a row) raised their record to 19-1.
