Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail Division I recap Oct. 30, 2012
South's Mike Jones rumbled for the longest rushing play in Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail Division I this season in his game against Great Bend last week. Jones' team topped the Panthers as he sprinted for 90 yards on the play and finished with 411 in all.
Hutchinson extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Maize, 42-14. The victory was the fourth in a row for the team.
J.T. Harlamon put up the best numbers through the air as Haysville Campus fell to North. He finished with seven completions for 122 yards and two touchdowns. Harlamon's favorite target this week was Gabe Chavez, who caught three passes for 62 yards.
Aaron Mar was the best wideout in the league this week as South defeated Great Bend. Mar tallied five receptions for 148 yards.
Thanks to the talents of Justin Stonebraker and Jones Sam Sellers' team has been able to do all sorts of things on offense. Stonebraker leads the league in passing with 683 yards, while Jones has rushed for 1344 yards this season. The Colts' Chavez leads the league in receiving yards with 420 on 23 catches.
The Cougars took down Bo Black's team 56-21 last week, the largest margin of any game. Jones in the win.
