Mize put their dominant pitcher on display in the team's fourth consecutive shutout  on Monday. They never let the Raleigh Lions get on the board and left with  a   10-0  win. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won four contests by ten  runs or more  so far this season.
 Ella Gordon was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she  didn't allow a single  earned run while striking out seven over six innings pitched. That's the most  strikeouts  she has posted since back in April of 2024. She was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-3. She also  hit a  double, marking her first of the season.
 In other batting news,  AK Easterling was  excellent,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 1-for-3. Another player making a difference was  Brooks Ford, who  scored two  runs while  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances.
 Mize  hit smart and  finished the game with only two  strikeouts. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  struck out at most two  strikeouts in three consecutive  matchups.
Mize's victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Raleigh,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 1-5.
 Coming up, Mize will welcome Taylorsville  at 6:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. The timing is sure in Mize's favor as the  team sits on four straight wins at home while Taylorsville has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road. As for Raleigh,  a feisty cat fight will be fought as  the Lions  challenge  the Panthers at 6:15  p.m.  on Tuesday.
