The Bourne Canalmen and the Hopedale Blue Raiders will round out the year against one another at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday at. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Bourne had to kick off their season on the road two weeks ago, but they showed no ill effects. They breezed by Nantucket on the road to the tune of 66-39.
Meanwhile, Hopedale beat Holliston 59-52 on Thursday.
Among those leading the charge was Patrick Madden, who scored 20 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Hopedale's points. Another player making a difference was Hudson Terando, who scored ten points.
Bourne's victory was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 1-0. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.1 points per game. As for Hopedale, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Bourne strolled past Hopedale when the teams last played back in December of 2022 by a score of 65-46. Does Bourne have another victory up their sleeve, or will Hopedale turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
