The Southridge Spartans will face off against the Dwyer Panthers at 7:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Southridge has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 309 points over their last five matchups.
 With a playoff game on the line, Southridge rose to the challenge  on Friday. They strolled past the  with  points to spare, taking the game  61-42. Given Southridge's advantage  in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings  (they are ranked 28th, while Lourdes Academy is ranked 124th), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.
  Dianka Hardisson and  Shanaii Gamble were among the main playmakers for Southridge as the former  scored 17 points along with five  steals and the latter  dropped  a double-double on 22 points and 14  rebounds. Hardisson is on a roll when it comes to points, as she's  now  scored 17 or more in the last four games she's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Naya Hardisson, who  scored ten points along with six  assists and two  steals.
 Meanwhile,  Dwyer unfortunately witnessed the end of their  six-game winning streak on Wednesday. They suffered a  tough 70-48 defeat at the hands of Blanche Ely.
 Southridge is  on a roll lately: they've  won nine of their last ten games,  which provided a nice bump to their 19-6 record  this season. As for Dwyer, their loss dropped their record down to 12-9.
