While Shipley put up plenty of runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for Abington Friends. Shipley blew past Abington Friends 12-0. Considering Shipley has won six games by more than seven runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Shipley's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-3. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.6 runs on average over those games. As for Abington Friends, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Shipley will square off against Central at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Abington Friends, they will welcome Academy of the New Church at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
