Logan Trotter put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in March on Monday. He struck out ten batters over eight innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off five hits. Anahuac is undefeated when Trotter posts ten or more strikeouts, but 8-15-1 otherwise.

Trotter's strong effort led Anahuac over Huntington and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The Panthers will be headed into this one with a sizable disadvantage in the rankings (they're ranked 401 places lower in Texas), but they're not letting that get them down.
