Enumclaw is a perfect 3-0 against Kentlake since May of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Hornets will look to defend their home field against the Falcons at 7:00 p.m. Enumclaw is coming into the game hot, having won their last 14 games.
Enumclaw's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They blew past Beamer 16-0. The result was nothing new for the Hornets, who have now won 13 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.
Nadia Flaherty was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits over five innings pitched. Flaherty was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with one home run. That home run marked the first that she has launched this season.

In other batting news, Natalie Otero was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, six RBI, and two runs. Those six RBI gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Alyssa Neal, who went 2-for-3 with three runs, one double, and one RBI.
Enumclaw kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in 16 consecutive games.
Meanwhile, after soaring to 28 runs the game before, Kentlake was a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They came up short against Auburn Mountainview, falling 12-1. The Falcons haven't had much luck with the Lions recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.
Kentlake saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Natalie Brown, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.
Enumclaw pushed their record up to 16-2 with the win, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.4 runs on average over those games. As for Kentlake, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-6.
Monday's match will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Enumclaw hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .520. However, it's not like Kentlake struggles in that department as they've averaged .379. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Enumclaw beat Kentlake 6-1 when the teams last played back in April. Do the Hornets have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Falcons turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
