 On Enloe's side,  Avery Modlin made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she  struck out 11 batters over  seven innings while giving up  five earned  (and one unearned) runs off   eight  hits. Modlin has been consistent recently: she hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in 14 consecutive pitching appearances. Modlin was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring two  runs and  stealing two bases while going 1-for-3.
 In other batting news,  Madison Haga was  excellent,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 1-for-3.
 Broughton's defeat dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Enloe, the  win was  the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-6.
 Broughton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Enloe also has no future games currently scheduled.
