In what's become a running theme this season, the First Baptist Crusaders gave their fans yet another huge victory on Friday. They took their matchup on the road with ease, bagging a 81-35 win over Prior Lake Christian. That looming 81-35 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for First Baptist yet this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead First Baptist to victory, but perhaps none more so than Levi Borner, who scored 18 points along with four steals. Borner hasn't dropped below 15 points for four straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Owen Nelson, who scored 13 points along with six assists.
First Baptist's win was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-6. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.4 points per game. As for Prior Lake Christian, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-2.
First Baptist does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Prior Lake Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Chisago Lakes Baptist at 7:00 p.m. on February 6th.
