Jackie Morelos and Dani Neville made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, Morelos tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Meanwhile, Neville struck out eight batters over five innings while giving up six earned (and one unearned) runs off seven hits (and only one walk). Those hits were her first of the season. Meanwhile, Corona waltzed into their game on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Everything went their way against the Titans as they made off with a 13-2 win. While the Panthers didn't have the best season last year (they finished 5-22), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.
The victory got Katella back to even at 6-6. As for Corona, their record is now 9-4.
