The King's Academy Knights will square off against the Milpitas Trojans at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
On Tuesday, King's Academy was able to grind out a solid victory over Eastside College Prep, taking the game 3-1. The Knights haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.
King's Academy was especially dominant in the fourth set. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-19, 22-25, 25-12.

King's Academy relied on the efforts of David Satorio, who had eight digs, and Ben Xiong, who had nine kills, five digs, and three blocks. Those nine kills gave Xiong a new career-high.
King's Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 11 aces. They are 3-1 when they serve at least ten aces.
Meanwhile, Milpitas had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They blew past the Panthers 3-0.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-18, 25-15.
King's Academy better focus on containing Ethan Chan and Avi Ware as the pair were huge in Milpitas' win. Chan had 11 digs and ten assists, while Ware had eight digs and one assist. Mitchell Mai also deserves some recognition as he served his first ace of the season.
King's Academy's victory bumped their record up to 10-16. As for Milpitas, they pushed their record up to 18-9 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.
