Central Crossing suffered their biggest defeat since December 22, 2023 on Tuesday. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 54-30 walloping at the hands of Lancaster. Central Crossing has not had much luck with Lancaster recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.
Cordelia Watkins put forth a good effort for the losing side as she scored four points along with 12 rebounds and two blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Sara Solberg, who scored three points along with four steals.
In what's become a running theme this season, Pickerington Central gave their fans yet another huge victory on Tuesday. They blew past Newark 67-38 at home. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Pickerington Central has posted since December 22, 2023.
Central Crossing's defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Pickerington Central, their win bumped their record up to 15-3.
Central Crossing was dealt a bruising 66-11 defeat at the hands of Pickerington Central in their previous meeting back in December of 2023. The game was all but decided by halftime, at which point Central Crossing was down 41-4.
