The Pine Hill Warriors were the 51-30 winner over the Tse' Yi' Gai Dine Warriors when they last played one another back in February of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Despite the defeat, Pine Hill had strong showings from Virances Martinez, who scored eight points along with five steals, and Leilani Charley, who scored six points along with nine rebounds and five steals. Those five steals set a new season-high mark for her.
Pine Hill now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Tse' Yi' Gai, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pine Hill won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Northwest at 5:00 p.m. on December 29, 2023.
