New Foundations suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Tuesday. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 68-46 walloping at the hands of The City School. It was the first time this season that New Foundations let down their fans at home.
The City School got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jaden Johnson out in front who scored two points along with ten assists and six steals. Another player making a difference was Talan Hawkins, who scored 20 points.
New Foundations' loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 6-3. As for The City School, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. New Foundations will take on Solebury at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Solebury is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 63.3 points per game. As for The City School, they will be playing at home against Life Center Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Averaging 77.3 so far this season, Life Center Academy's high-powered offense has been in full-swing lately, so The City School better be ready for a challenge.
