Rison has enjoyed a three-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They just played last night, but they'll still head out to face the Gurdon Go-Devils at 5:00 p.m. on December 12th. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Among those leading the charge was Carlese Johnson, who scored 16 points along with six rebounds. Johnson set a new season high mark in points with 16. The team also got some help courtesy of Destiny Lea, who scored 12 points.
Even though Gurdon has not done well against Fordyce recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Gurdon came out on top against Fordyce by a score of 52-42 (the very same score they lost by the week prior).

Rison didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Gurdon in their previous matchup back in January, but they still walked away with a 51-46 win. Does Rison have another victory up their sleeve, or will Gurdon turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
