Lutheran West was the  5-1 winner over Benedictine when they last played one another  back in April of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Lutheran West Longhorns lost  14-3 to the Benedictine Bengals on Tuesday. Lutheran West has now  taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

 On Benedictine's side, they got a  massive  performance out of  Shepard Charlton, who  went 2-for-2 with a  home run and three  runs.  Jerrold Brazelton was another key contributor,  scoring three  runs while  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances.
 Lutheran West's defeat dropped their record down to 12-6. As for Benedictine, the  victory was  the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-6.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lutheran West will stay at home for another  game and welcome North Olmsted at 7:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Lutheran West is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.3  runs per game  this season. As for Benedictine, they will look to defend their home field  on Wednesday against Keystone at 5:00  p.m.
