Norte Vista posted their biggest win since December 29, 2023 on Thursday. Everything went their way against Patriot as Norte Vista made off with a 65-43 victory. The win made it back-to-back wins for Norte Vista.
Norte Vista's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Hugo Morales led the charge by dropping a double-double on 23 points and 22 rebounds. Bryan Ramirez was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with five rebounds and five steals.
Meanwhile, Calvary Baptist entered their tilt with The Grove School with seven consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with eight. Calvary Baptist breezed by The Grove School on the road to the tune of 108-17. Calvary Baptist's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Norte Vista is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record this season. As for Calvary Baptist, they pushed their record up to 20-4 with that win, which was their fourth straight on the road.
