The Uintah Utes lost against the Spanish Fork Dons back in February of 2019, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Uintah was the victim of a tough 53-28 defeat at the hands of Spanish Fork. Uintah has struggled against Spanish Fork recently, as their contest on Thursday was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.
Several Utes players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Zoey Glenn, who scored 6 points along with 6 rebounds and 4 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Joy Spencer, who scored 6 points.
Uintah has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season. As for Spanish Fork, the win got them back to even at 3-3.
Uintah will head out on the road to face off against Salem Hills at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Salem Hills focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 17 on Tuesday. As for Spanish Fork, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Timpanogos at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Timpanogos is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.
