The Northridge Raiders can now show off 12 landslide victories after their most recent game on Friday. They blew past Mishawaka 74-18 on the road. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 52-7.
Northridge was led to victory by Rielyn Goodwin and Morgan Cross. Goodwin scored 13 points along with eight steals, while Cross scored eight points along with seven steals and five assists. Goodwin has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last 11 times she's played. Another player making a difference was Ella Mohamed, who scored ten points along with two steals.
The win makes it two in a row for Northridge and bumps their season record up to 20-2. As for Mishawaka, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-11.
Northridge won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Fort Wayne Snider at 6:00 p.m. on January 20th. Fort Wayne Snider will be looking to keep their eight-game home win streak alive. Mishawaka will take on New Prairie at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. New Prairie has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 182 points over their last three matchups.
