Fordham Prep strolled past All Hallows with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 74-59. Given Fordham Prep's advantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 120th, while All Hallows is ranked 520th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Fordham Prep got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Matthew Kapfer out in front who scored 30 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Kapfer has scored all season. Ryan Jackson was another key contributor, scoring 25 points along with six assists.
Fordham Prep pushed their record up to 15-3 with that victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for All Hallows, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.
Fordham Prep's road trip will continue as they head out to face Hackley at 12:50 p.m. on January 27th. As for All Hallows, they will face off against St. Joseph-by-the-Sea at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. St. Joseph-by-the-Sea has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since November 22.
