The Piedmont Classical Bobcats's 35-9 record from last season is now well into the rear view mirror after another tough outing. They were beaten by Page 67-31 on Thursday. While losing is never fun, Piedmont Classical can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 497th, while Page is ranked 245th).
Despite the loss, Piedmont Classical had strong showings from Ja'el Lawson , who scored 8 points, and Nick Daniel , who scored 6 points.
This is the second loss in a row for Piedmont Classical and nudges their season record down to 1-5. As for Page, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-3.
Piedmont Classical will head out on the road to face off against Bethany at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Bethany is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak. As for Page, they will face off against Westover at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Westover will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
