Liberty Union moved up to 114 from 159 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Mid-State - Buckeye. The Lions climbed the ranks as a result of besting St. Clairsville 31-0.
Liberty Union made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 1,757 from 2,388. The advance stemmed from a 31-0 victory over the Red Devils last week.
Dan Johnson's team's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. AUSTIN VANNATTA threw for 41 yards and ADAM SNYDER had 32 yards receiving. On the ground JACOB BASSO chipped in 114 yards.
BASSO provided a threat through the air and on the ground as the Lions beat St. Clairsville. BASSO's key target this week was SNYDER, who caught 3 passes for 32 yards.
SNYDER was the best wideout in the league this week as Liberty Union beat Brett Mclean's team.
Liberty Union's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Lions feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. VANNATTA has thrown for 1,362 yards and 9 touchdowns this season, while SNYDER has 38 catches for 570 yards.
Logan Elm led the league in scoring this week by notching 55 points on Logan Elm.
