Mason Weatherford made a splash no matter where he played. He struck out ten batters over 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Those ten strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and one double. That double was his first of the season.
